As I was driving along my town’s main boulevard last weekend, I noticed this guy on the sidewalk to my right so I had to take a quick photo.
I’m used to seeing such sights during vacations to the “bible belt” states, but this is a pretty rare sight here in the liberal East Bay.
If there is an all-powerful and all-knowing god, would this religious recruitment be necessary? If so, wouldn’t the god provide his minions with more effective and less ridiculous methods to get the word out?

Personally, I agree with you. But I’ll go one step further. When God and Jesus want me to recognize then, they’ll appear directly to me, prove themselves and then answer my questions. But they already know that.
